Sold as two separate kits for the Front and rear, please select which you require from the drop down box before adding to your basket (please note: a rear kit must be fitted before a front kit can be added)

Safety at the front and back

Park Pilot relies automatically when reverse gear is selected on ultrasonic sensors for ultra-precise monitoring of the area behind the vehicle. Two rear-end systems are available with three sensors for smaller vehicles and with four sensors for larger vehicles. The Bosch Park Pilot can now be extended by adding a front –end system. There is a choice of two different systems: The two-channel system for corner protection and the four-channel system for the entire front end area. Wire mesh fences. Obscured posts and low-lying flowerports are reliably detected by the sensors.

How the Bosch Park Pilot works.

According to the echosounding principle, the ultrasound sensors emit short sound pulses which are reflected by obstructions, registered by the sensors as an echo signal and evaluated by a control unit. With their wide detection range of 120°, the sensors are extremely good at recognizing obstructions.

Self-diagnosis

The system performs a self-test each time it is activated. In diagnosis mode the fault memory can be read out by way of the visual/acoustic display.
